Brilliant Checkmate Combination by Emanuel Lasker Breaking News White to move. Can you find the brilliant checkmate combination for Emanuel Lasker? Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
1. Qf7+ Kh6
2. Qxg6 (the surprise!) Kxg6
3. Rg3+
Now black king goes to h6 or h7.
White checks with either bishop or knight, then mates with the other one. Black can only interpose ineffectually with Pf5 at one point
1. Qf7+ should do it, but had to think a lot before getting 2. Qxg6+, nice one Susan…..
Trully brilliant!
Thanks Susan.
1)Df7+ Rh6
2)Dg6+! Rg6
3)Tg3+ Rh6 (ou 3)…Rh7 4)Fd3+ Rh6 5)Cf7 mat)
4)Cf7+ Rh7
5)Fd3+ f5
6)Ff5 mat

Some day this young Lasker is going to be world champion. Especially if he keeps playing like this.
