Amazing find !!!
Fischer years between 1972 and 1992 still hold many secrets !?
Susan ,i just had young Vance Williams at my house yesterday during the Bills game, diggin into some of this old guys games, i had to chase him outta there!!! hehe. My Bills arent too good right now, think we need a new coach! Hows Romo! hehe. They dont play that phony quarterbacking in dallas u know! Big history of great Qbs lots of luck!!
For me, there is something inexpressibly sad about these pictures.
Good to see that Bobby had many happy moments in his woeful life.
Merci from France !! beautiful pictures and lovely music !
A fabulous set of pictures. Who owns them?
I only wish he hadn’t hobnobbed with dictators. That severely weakens his criticism of the U.S.
How can I download this vedio?
Bobby is boobistic!
‘How can I download this vedio?’
I don’t know.
Super pics. Is Bobby’s sister still alive?
Some of the pictures are very nice, but all the picture in this collection have a special fashion!

This is best chess video I have ever seen! Its amazing really. So much information is placed on so little space. Bobby Fischer was a real gentleman. He made US proud and later Iceland proud. Japan hosted him and then jailed him for not paying rent. Shame on them! He was wonderful chess player, maybe better than Paul Morphy even! He never lost a game of chess, in Internet games on chessresults.
How many Polgar Chess Centres in Asia are there?
Who knows to tell us the story of Bobby getting married to a Philly lady?
I think these pictures are montage by somebody.
Thank you Susan for this video , even though it’s sad to see these images , for all of us who had genuine admiration for Bobby . RIP .
Greetings from France
Bobby rulez! Coldplay too!
“Japan hosted him and then jailed him for not paying rent.”
Get your facts straight: No, he was jailed because he had a passport which had been revoked by US officials (and this was many decades later, in 2004). And guess who pressured the Japanese to put him in jail?
Or perhaps you’ve forgotten that he was a fugitive from the American justice system? He wasn’t wanted by the Japanese, but by the Americans. He remained wanted by the United States government for the rest of his life and never returned to the United States.
He hated the US and renounced his American citizenship, so no wonder he lived in Japan. At least he found someone there he loved and someone who loved him.
After 9/11 he said “What goes around comes around even for the United States … America has to be destroyed”. America treated him like crap after he became famous, so I’m not surprised he made statements like that.
‘He hated the US and renounced his American citizenship, so no wonder he lived in Japan.’
That’s not true. He loved USA most of his valued life. He played for USA. He recited its anthem every day. So stop writing bullshit. He moved to Japan to be with his destiny woman Yoko something. He died for Iceland.
“That’s not true. He loved USA most of his valued life. He played for USA. He recited its anthem every day. So stop writing bullshit.”
You’re in denial or ignorant or both. Why do you think he said he wanted to see the US destroyed and President Bush killed if he loved the US? Does that make sense to you? He hated the US and the Jews deeply, indeed. Let me quote some of the things he said about the US:
“[The US is] a farce controlled by dirty, hook-nosed, circumcised Jew bastards.”
In his letter to Osama bin Laden he wrote:
“Dear Mr. Osama bin Laden allow me to introduce myself. I am Bobby Fischer, the World Chess Champion. First of all you should know that I share your hatred of the murderous bandit state of “Israel” and its chief backer the Jew-controlled U.S.A. also know [sic] as the “Jewnited States” or “Israel West.” We also have something else in common: We are both fugitives from the U.S. “justice” system.”
He might have loved the US in his earlier years, but he came to love to hate it until his death. He felt betrayed.
Japan and Iceland treated him better than the US ever did. The only reason why he was jailed in Japan was that he was a fugitive from the US justice system, and the US pressured Japan to release him. In fact, he was to be deported to the US, but Iceland gave him citizenship for humanitarian reasons. The US tried to prevent that, but they failed.
Of course he hated the US, no doubt about it.
“That’s not true. He loved USA most of his valued life. He played for USA. He recited its anthem every day. So stop writing bullshit.”
You’re blatantly wrong. You can convince yourself about that fact by starting here:

Wikipedia facts?? Do you know who writes for Wikipedia? Sam Sloan, among others. Have I said enough?
We should not trust Wiki articles, only what our own eyes have seen and our ears have heard.
