The strong Acropolis chess tournament starts today

The international chess tournament Acropolis starts today in Greece. 15 GMs over 2500 ELO will participate in the competition. Top seeded will be GM Ilia Smirin, the winner of last year’s tournament. Many players from the just finished Kavala tournament will join the competition – GM Gelashvili, WGM Anna Rudolf, FM Josip Asik, etc.
