TOP OF THE NICE LIST –Tonight Mr. Gerald Ronning, who is a doggedly faithful volunteer and chess mentor, was uncharacteristically late. He looked completely exhausted. He’d been dining on Granby St. and missed the bus. Rather than wait he chose to walk all the way to Lamberts Point Community Center. It took him 45 minutes in the wind and dark onset of tonight’s storm to get there.
