e3e5.com reports that the news portal AZE.az has posted the graphics of the future Chess Palace that will be built in National Seashore Park in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan Chess Federation anticipated that the construction should start by the end of year 2013. The sources of AZE.az say that the complex should be completed by the end of 2016. (Graphics below)

With this project, Azerbaijan continues to invest in development of the popular sport.

Last year Baku was awarded with the organization of the FIDE World Chess Cup 2015 and Chess Olympiad 2016. The budget for these two events is over 15 million EUR.
