1. Rxh6 gxh6
2. Qh5
and its over.
1.Rxh6+ gxh6 (forced) followed by
2.Qh5
1.Rxh6+! gxh6 2.Qh5 1-0
1. Rxh6+ gxh6
2. Qh5 wins
Simply Rxh6+ and black is toast.
Beelze
R#h6 looks like a pretty good investment.
1. Rxh6+ gh, 2. Qh5 and black cannot prevent mate even by sacrificing his Queen.
1 Rh6+ mates quickly
Rxh6+ forces recapture. then Qh5 and nothing can stop Qxh6.
black can play …Nh7 but it does no good. neither does …Ng6
black can queen on a1 but that’s too little too late
Rxh6+ and the white pieces come crashing through. There was a similar theme around the Rxh6+ sacrifice in Shirov – Dominguez last round of Corus.
1. Rh1xh6+

I think sacrificing the rook at h6 is the correct way. Playing gh6 allows black to defend by playing g6, and white’s own pawn becomes a part of black’s defense.
1. Rh6 gh6 (forced)
2. Qh5 Qf6 (what else?)
3. gf6 and I don’t see a defense against the coming mate delivered by 4. Qh6, 5. Qh7/g7.
1. Rh6+! gh6
2. Qh5 and White wins
R#h6 check followed by Qh5 and I DARE you to tell me what Black can do against mate.
rxh6+ gxh6 qh5 and mate is coming quickly
Rxh6
1. Rxh6 gxh6
2. Qh5 Qxf6
3. gxf6
Rxh6+ gxh6
Qh5 Qxf6
exf6 Be8
Qxh6+ Kg8
Qg7++
one line i didn’t see before:
Rxh6+ gh6
Qh5 and black can try Qxf6 to stop the mate. after:
gf6 black is right back where he started. nothing can stop Qxh6 followed by Qg7#, or Qh7# (if black tries the block with …Nh7
Black has a lot a extra material, with a pawn on the verge of promotion, but only the queen and knight defend the king.
1. Rxh6+ gxh6 (1. … Nh7 is pointless)
2. Qh5 and mate cannot be stopped.
1. Rxh6+ gxh6
2. Qh5 1-0
