Armenia, China lead the Dvorkovich chess tournament

The Vladimir Dvorkovich Chess Tournament has launched in Russian capital of Moscow gathering together teams from seven countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Germany, Poland and China.

The Armenian team consists of 4 chess players: Robert Agasarian, Karen Grigorian, Hovhannes Gabuzian, and Maria Gevorkian.

On the first day of the championship, Armenia’s chess players gained two victories over Polish team.

At the moment tournament’s leaders are teams of China and Armenia, who scored 4 points each, the Armenian Chess Federation said.

The individual results of the Armenian team is 5 point, Chinese players scored 6 points.
