White to move. Can you find a mate combination which was made by a 6-year old Chukavin?

Once I realized that those were bishops on d3 and e3 it was not too bad.
Thanks for a neat mate.

Bishop on b3 and rook on g3 certainly would have been tempting to exchange rooks at g6, but then the young man saw something even better. Ke8# thanks to the bishop on d3.
Congratulations to the young man for seeing the better move. And besides all that he noticed that e8 was unprotected. Good job Dmitri!
Dear friends. 1.Qe8+ isn’t mate, Black has Rf8. He would have seen much futher. 2. Rxg7+! Kxg7 3. Qg6+ Kh8 4. Qh7#
I think the previous poster meant Qe8# instead of Ke8#. But Qe8 is not mate because of the rook on f6. I came up with 1. Qe8+ Rf8 2. Bh7+ Kxh7 3. Qg6+ Kh8 4. Qxg7#. I had to work through it, it wasn’t obvious to me.
1.Qe8+ Rf8 2.Rxg7+ Kxg7 (2.-Kh8 3.Qxf8++) 3.Qg6+ Kh8 4.Qh7++
Have to admit…..Ooops!
Really nice that both 2. Rxg7+ and 2. Bh7+ work with the role of bishop and rook changing. (It is not quite symmetrical of course but there are big paralleles: one of them extracts the king to the right sqaure where the queen can give an important check floowed by mate each protected ba the other one. This is a ‘dual’ (word from the chess problems) which is gladly seen here. :))
The mate (with Rxg7+ – I did not search on for the other one, thanks for Mike for showing) took me about a minute, from which half a minute took me to find out which were the bishops (what a … curious … ‘diagramme’).
So am I better than a 6 year old?
Sorry, Susan (or whoever from Susan’s team posted this), the title is yellow press niveau and I do not like it at all.
[And – as the young boy found the mate – in this case we can’t be better than him, can we? ;)]
Best wishes from Germany
Jochen
lol
I was baffled, until I noticed that the “pawns” on d3 and e3 are actually bishop. Then it was easy.
1. Qe8+ Rf8
2. Rxg7+ KxR
3. Qg6+ Kh8
4. Qh7#
Theses kids getting too strong, im puttin it on Rybka!
