Tomorrow at 14.30 Mr Eduardo da Silva, acting mayor of Tromsø, will open the Arctic Chess Challenge. Half an hour later the first round, which you can follow live here, will start. We look forward to a great tournament, and we are confident that all chess fans – both those who come to Tromsø and those who follow the tournament on their computers – will have a great time from August 1st to 9th.
