The Coen brothers took three years off between The Ladykillers and No Country for Old Men. It was a long wait but luckily this time round we’ll be getting our next Coen movie faster than ever.

The brothers are currently working on Burn After Reading and they’ve decided to add yet another movie to their long to-do list in the shape of Michal Chabon’s The Yiddish Policemen’s Union.

The Yiddish Policemen’s Union follows the story of the US government and their plans to displace Jewish settlers of Sitka, Alaska in favour of native Alaskans in a modern-day setting. While that’s going on, a drunk rogue cop investigates the death of a heroin-addicted chess prodigy who may be the Messiah.

Here is the full story. Here is another article related to this movie.
