Vassily Ivanchuk – Magnus Carlsen
Veselin Topalov – Peter Svidler
What are your predictions?
Morozevich-Aronian, What a game!
I watched videos from round 1 and 2 on chessbase. Very Funny. Aronian got to the table before the game 2 against Carlsen, and young fella covered his eyes (oh, no its him) and looked like he was in the dentists chair. Pooor kid.
1/2 Peter Leko – Levon Aronian
1-0 Vishy Anand – Alexander Morozevich
1-0 Vassily Ivanchuk – Magnus Carlsen
1/2 Veselin Topalov – Peter Svidler
What a shame that Carlsen missed his win on round 2 because of serious time trouble. And now he lost. He just isn’t there yet.
Aronian and Anand will share the victory is my bet for the whole tournament.
1-0 Peter Leko – Levon Aronian
1/2 Vishy Anand – Alexander Morozevich
1/2 Vassily Ivanchuk – Magnus Carlsen
1-0 Veselin Topalov – Peter Svidler

Comments like this just kill me.
How about. Magnus is doing great. He is learning the only way possible. He is getting the education of a lifetime. There is no other way for him to imporve. He must play the world’s best to learn how to beat them.
He turned 16 on November 30.
Even Bobby Fischer was 29 when he beat Spassky.

No I guess not. We will just have to keep cheering for him until he is there. Then we can say. We cheered for him and were loyal. It is great to see him win. We always knew he could do it. It has been a fun journey watching Magnus get better.
So let us sit back and enjoy watching him grow up.

all you nuthuggers know magnus overrated. GO CHUCKY!
Bobby Fischer at 15 were in the top 10, ha was playing in pretenders tournament and there was not the last one.
Reg. Pony.
Carlsen is doing great! To be in the middle group with an even score in such an elite tournament, for somebody his age, is amazing. And he Moro, the #1 fan favorite GM!
He’s ahead of Topy, too. lol
Old is Gold.
Go Anand, Chucky.
Don’t forget Tal swept Fischer in the 1959 Candidates Tournament in Yugoslavia (4-0). Fischer and Magnus were the same age.
Go Magnus!!!
