What match??Look at the current standings. This poll is an insult,to exclude Svidler and Kramnik.
Ooops – sorry,I was wrong ! I see that it will indeed by Carlsen against Anand now. What an outstanding candidates tournament it has been : credit to every single player !
Kramnik had fewer loses than Carlsen. I call the whole thing unfair. Kramnik should never had the title he won from Gary stripped from him. He is still the true classical world champion.

Kramnik’s title was not ‘stripped from him’. He lost the reunification tournament to Anand and then lost again to Anand in the return match. Get your facts straight, instead of mouthing off.
Really profoundly, it doesn’t matter to me who wins., weather it be the mighty Indian, gentle, well spoken Clark Kent like Anand ,or that., did I really win that tournament Carlsen…at the end of the day…i want chess to win for the world!!!
What an inconclusive candidates tournament. Ivanchuk proves himself dangerous to everyone. Kramnik had less losses and seemed to grab good positions against carlsen … Ahhh for some reason i like knockout better
Records of classical games between Carlsen and Anand is in favour of Anand, once upon a time, Carlsen was an easy prey to Anand. Anand’s preparation (openings especially) is geting stronger with his long successful team of seconds, Anand rarely goes into time trouble, and he plays solid in any position, if the match is played in India(Chennai) Anand gets motivated more due to home fans. This match is just first one for carlsen, surely this is not as motivated as Anand’s chance (Last?) to remain champion. Considering all this, Anand’s play will be the best and he surely wins.
Energy: Carlsen? He was barely breathing at the end of the Candidates Tournament.
Talent – Carlson
Ability to not choke under pressure – Anand
Toughness – Anand
The next time someone punches Caarlson in the nose will be his first time. He is a Pxssy
Well , for mental toughness , energy and to grind out a win there is nobody like Carlsen. Besides based on the recent performace and to look things objectively he is the favourite
