carlsen big blunder olé !
a confusion between a rook and a yellow ball
Viswanathan Anand Vassily Ivanchuk 0/1
Alexei Shírov Teimour Radjabov 0/1
Magnus Carlsen Levon Aronian 1/0
Peter Leko Veselin Topalov 1/0
yeah !!!
This tournament is so close anyone can beat anybody so it is to Anand’s credit he is the leader going into the 1/2 way point.
Anand has been the best amongst all the players. Apart from the blunder against Aronian, he has been really dominating in the tournament.
I salute to Shirov. He has been out there since the days of Kasparov and he is still at the top.
About Anand: He is proving yet again that his world title is fully justified. Or in the words of his many fans: Anand rules!!
Topalov disappointed me. After his good games in the first rounds he failed to keep up the winning streak. As his fan I find it hard to contend with his instability. I guess he is not yet back to himself.
Ivanchuck is another disappointment for me. He does not justify, in super-top tournaments, his reputation for being the same Ivanchuck we are used to from regular events.. .
Topapa will suffer like a beast against Gata …
