Anand full of praise for fellow Indians

Chennai: World champion Viswanathan Anand was full of praise for his fellow Indians performing at the world level at different stages and advised them to enjoy their game to the fullest.

Anand, at a felicitation function organised by the Tamil Nadu State Chess Association today, said he is happy to know that so many participants from the country are performing at the big stage and excelling in their game.

Congratulating winners of Asian Junior Championships, he wished all the players luck and advised them to continue their hard work to achieve greater success in life ahead.

On the occassion, Anand also shared his memories of Asian Junior Championships.

Thanking his well wishers, Anand said, “without your support and blessings I could not have done better in Sofia in the recent World Championship.”
