Will Nepom break 2700 this year?
cowards – this is not a drawn postion
this is the legacy of the Russian Chess School
chiken chess
Am I missing something here? Why is this a draw? I think the black pieces had a clear advantage in this position.
High time we saw some Fischer Random tournaments at high levels, if these sorts of short draws continue to become more the norm.
Whiners. It’s an open tournament, they do not owe anything to anyone.
oh yeah. some nobody-knows-whom blogger robert knows better than Nepo or Ammonatov. LOL. show us your legacy and demonstrate how black gets advantage (or playable equal) position if he doesnt repeat the moves.
I dont care whether Nepo breaks 2700 or not, but the kid does have brilliant ideas. I would like to see him in Dortmund. however the odds are Dreev takes 1st.
I’m shocked….but not about the game. I’m shocked about how many draw fans does the game of chess have!!! I can’t beleive that there are people here defending these type of draws even under 20 moves. No wonder our favorite hobbie will never be taken seriously by the mainstream media.
Just like I said, the black pieces had a clear lead in this position. But don’t take my word for it…go to this analysis:
