A peaceful day in Chess today. A shame the world doesn’t learn to live in peace, harmony and love.
To: Topalov, Veselin
From: Kramnik, Vladimir
Subject: Upcoming match
I would like to offer a draw.
Dull, dull, dull.
[1] Levon Aronian will be the World Chess Champion someday.
[2] I predict the upcoming Kramnik-Topalov match will complete its scheduled 12 games with the two players tied. Then they have to resort to rapid and blitz, since this time a tied match is forbidden.
It reminds me of when the World Cup Soccer finale ended with those misnamed “penalty” kicks; or when the NBA ended its basketball finale with a game of Horse.
[3] The Kramnik-Topalov match should never end while the latest game played was won by the player who is behind in points.
This stipulation would keep hope & interest alive even if one player obtains a big early lead.
