With White’s pin on Black’s bishop, Nd5 picks up a piece (1. Nd5 Nxd5 2. exd5 Rhe8 3. exe6 Qxe6), but White’s a- and b-pawns are precarious and could become a problem with further exchanges.

Hi Susan,
I am hoping to publish chess puzzles on my website, just like you do.
May I know how do I copy and paste the puzzle like you do? I tried copy-ing the puzzle from Fritz, but when I pasted it on Word, it didn’t turn out as nice as yours. It was only black and white and the image was rather unattractive.
Please advise.
1. Nb5! Kb8 2. Nxc7! Qxc7 3. Qxf6 and White is up a pawn.

As far as I remember we had this (or a very similar) position some time ago.
Again it is Nd5, isn’t it? White wins a light figure.

Don’t paste in word! Word is the worst program ever for webpages!
Just to add to the Nd5: It cannot be countered by Rxd5:
1. Nd5 Nxd5
2. exd5 Rxd5
3. Qxh8+
i think nd5 with a piece
black at least get a 2nd pawn & find best way to do it: 1. Nd5 Nxd5 2. exd5 Qd6 3. Qxd6 cxd6 4. dxe6 fxe6 followed by Rhe8 & Kc7; the 2 pawns are not enough for the piece but at least black gives white a chance to mess up & allow black to advance center pawns.
to the guy who said Nb5 wins a pawn, uh, white is down a pawn right now
I’m not good at writing out moves…but I don’t see a good plan for black with white’s knight to B5…anyone comment?
Ok maybe king to b8 may counter knight to b5
