Online Casino Explores Stereotypes
Online casino EverestPoker.com has announced the results of a special project undertaken by its European Event Co-ordinators to see if national characteristics can be discerned in the way poker is played throughout Europe.
The team spent six months observing the characteristics of various nationalities during live and online poker events and found an interesting perspective on the different playing styles.
The project found that, contrary to an outwardly cool and calm demeanour, Swedish players tend to be very aggressive and enjoy taking risks.
‘Sweden was one of the first countries where the online poker boom really took off so they have had a head start,’ said Robert Dahlstrom, Swedish Event Co-ordinator for EverestPoker.com.
Spanish players are relatively new to the game of poker but are apparently catching on fast due to the fact that many players come from a chess background and have strong analytical skills.

There are some big companies like Neteller (as billing system) or PartyPoker (as the largest casino) who will continue to lobby in order to return their positions. I think that decrease in casino for sale’ business on the US market will be substituted by increase on the European and Asian market.
Let’s hear it for stereotypes!
You know what they say about Spanish fly…
