Watch out for the name Abby Marshall. Last year, she tied for 1st at the Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls. Abby finished in clear second at the Susan Polgar World Open Championship for Girls, half point behind WIM Batchimeg “Chimmy” Tuvshingtugs.
In this tournament, she defeated WIM Luciana Morales (member of the 2006 Women’s Olympiad Team from Peru) and Laura Morales (winner of the girl’s event in Mexico City). I expect many good things from Abby in the future!
