1 Q c8 – N x c8

4 B d7 mate
This is a tough one 🙁
Yepp, Redwing got it. It was a thing of 2 minutes.
For a beginner’s problem it’s quite nice. With the whole checks and the mating danger for white the solution is very “loud” – chess problems that are only a row of sacrifizes are seldom these days. Silent moves are prefered.
But what to say – for a beginner’s problem it’s quite well, go on, Kirk, when I remember what I made in the beginning (who is interested can watch on my homepage found in my google profile)….
I hope to see more fo you, here!
Greetings
Jochen
PS: Susan, you seem to be quite interested in exercices sent in by readers, perhaps some time I am going to send you one of mine, too. 🙂
Yes, I welcome everyone to send it materials, information, or puzzles. I may not be able to publish everything due to the sheer volume but I will try, especially if it is good.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
