80th FIDE Congress

INVITATION

The ΑΜΟ GALAXIAS Sports Club has the honour of inviting all National Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE, to participate in the 80th FIDE Congress in Halkidiki, located on Greece’s Mediterranean coast, 80 km south of Thessaloniki Airport. The Congress shall be held from 11th of October (arrival) to 18th of October 2009 (departure).

REGISTRATION

Every delegate, Executive Board and Commission member, and every accompanying person has to pay to the Organizing Committee the amount of 100 EUR at the moment of their registration ((by Monday August, 31th 2009). This payment is obligatory for all and its prepayment represents a confirmation for their participation in the Congress. The amount of 100 EUR includes registration badges, congress kit and transportation from Thessaloniki airport to the Congress Hotels (October 11th) with return on the departure day (October 18th). Transportation will be available and on other dates upon request.

CONGRESS HALL

Executive Board and commission meetings will be held at Athos Congress Center. Athos Palace & Theophano Imperial Palace hotel are available for delegates, a short distance from the congress hall.
