Some people complain about the Candidates Matches (complaining about the draws and some other issues).
I say the Candidates Matches were a great horse race ending with draws down the stretch, then a burst of speed by Gelfend to win in the last seconds (a last round win). In the USA we accept political contest presented as simple horse races by the dominate media, when actual policies of the winner have great consequences. The victorious (chess) candidate has no power cause a USA or world recession.
So, we should enjoy the great horse race of the 2011 Candidates Matches.
