Fabiano Caruana did very well in this tournament. He once again proved that he is a top notch player. Once he can become a little bit more consistent, he will break the 2700 barrier. The difference between Fabiano and Gata or Zoltan is the loss to Vocaturo, who basically lost to everyone else.

Caruana is best of course. The USCF obviously knows how to produce top talents such as Bobby Fischer, Caruana, Kamsky, Onischuk, Shulman, Akobian, Nakamura, etc. They owe everything to the USCF and Bill Goichberg. Without Bill Goichberg, there would be no American chess and the USCF would be no more.
