Due to the great response to this year’s NC Open, we have been forced to find more hotel rooms. The Holiday Inn is full, but don’t despair, we have managed to get a chess rate at the adjoining Hampton Inn. This hotel is on the same property as the Holiday Inn. It is literally 50 feet from the front door of the Hampton Inn to the Holiday Inn where the tourney will be held. And they are giving us the same room rate of $79 for chess players.

This hotel is brand spankin’ new, clean and conmfortable. So make your last minute reservations at the Hampton Inn Airport. Their phone number is 704-394-6455. Make sure to mention the NC Open Chess Tournament when you call. Contact me at gary.newsom@queencitychess.com if you have any problems. Thanks! See you at the tournament!
