Dear Chess Friends
Reykjavik Open 2009 will be organized by the Icelandic Chess Federation and the newly founded Reykjavik Chess Academy. This blogsite is the temporary website of the tournament, until the formal homepage is ready to be launched.
We, the organizers, would like to welcome all chess players to Reykjavik and participate in the tournament and additional activities. As only 150 players can participate, we can not guarantee all the interesting parties their place. We are sorry, but “first come, first served” is the rule of the day.
