Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Magnus is King!
Has Magnus ever crossed the live 2800 barrier before. If Im not mistaken, he may have once when he went to No.1 on the live ratings some time early this year.
Magnus is not bad, but lets wait the rest of the rounds. Ok? Anyway, live ratings are not respected by real media, are they?
Anonymous 2:43:00, no Magnus has never crossed 2800. When he was once the world #1, none were above 2800 at that time. His personal record is 2796,5 (0,1 above today’s number).
Live ratings are biased, only for the top players they are counted. Juniors are embarassed by not being a member of live rating community. Its jokish like.
susan have there ever been an African chessplaya on their EGO list? hmm maybe we not good enough! hehe.
Anand is laughing his head off with this ridiculuos mass histeria bout being #1 rated.
‘His personal record is 2796,5’
Really?
Tell me, smart guy, who is in youropinion a stronger player, one who has IM title and 2720 from life total of 250 rated games or 2700 player who has GM title and from life total of 1000 rated games?
‘When he was once the world #1’
Magnus was never world #1, please stop at once with this nonsense. Or learn to write proper english.
Here it says that our very own traine Khodarkovsky Michael has been nominated (by unknown person, although) for very high trainer award!

Why is there no news about this very big US achievement?
FIDE rating formula, like USCF, is decadent. Good formulas are only from ICC and Playchess. Fact that all federations who have national ratings use other formulas prove the decadency of FIDE thinking process.

USCF is puppet of FIDE, or works alone?
