Following an initiative started in 2013 the FIDE Events Commission is supporting establishment of new competitions and events aiming for a further development.
On the proposal from the FIDE Zone 1.10 and the Cyprus Chess Federation, FIDE Events Commission will provide technical and financial support to hold the 1st Individual Championship of Zone 1.10.
Zone 1.10 was created in 2010 in order to encourage the development of the European Nations with small population.
The Zonal Tournament will take place between 21st and 30th of April in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The invitation with all details will be sent soon by the Cyprus Chess Federation.
