1st annual North American All-Girls Championships in Santa Clara, CA (Susan Polgar Foundation, Bay Area Chess & Webster University, etc.). My dream is to be able to have an annual all-girls championship with over 1,000 players.
Already talking with major potential corporate sponsors. They are interested to sponsor and support. We now need huge supports from the players, parents and coaches, etc. in future years!
Together we can make a difference! We will bring in massive numbers of girls to chess!
On another very special note, we have all-female organizers / staff / arbiters! This is truly a very special event! Thank you Judit Sztaray, Martha Underwood, Aiya Cancio!
