Wow, two of them in the same year. Very impressive indeed!
It amazes me they’re so petty on the USCF boards as to argue whether these are real “world championships.”
Then again, nothing there amazes me anymore. 🙁
Personally, I see a difference between a world championship (the ones Botwinnik, Fischer, Kasparov won) and a women’s world rapid championship. Nevertheless, it is a great achievement that everybody would be proud of.
