The 13th International Open Miquel Mas will take place between 9th and 16th August in the Hall “Martin Zermeno” del “Castillo de San Fernando” at La Pujada del Castell in Figueras, Spain.
The tournament is valid for ELO FIDE, FEDA and FCDE, and for titles/norms for Catalan Master, International Master and Grandmaster. There will be two Groups, Open A and Open B (for players rated U2000). Both groups will be played over 9 rounds of Swiss System.
Open A currently has 54 players registered. Top seeded are Grandmasters Kevin Spraggett, Aleksandr Rakhmanov, Levan Aroshidze, Adhiban B and Azer Mirzoev.
