1. … Bd4 2. Qxd4 (2. Qxc7 Ra1#) exd4 0-1
Bd4
I saw Bd4 in less than 5 seconds. The move opens a triple attack on the white queen, and also threatens Ra1# should white play a move like Qxc7. I imagine white’s best defense is to take the bishop with the rook, but I doubt mate is avoidable even in that line.
Slightly more than 10 seconds.
1. …Bd4!
Now, White has the choice of losing his queen, or mate on a1.
It takes me only 5 seconds to like:
1. Bd4
and Qc3 is truly pinned. Any move of it leads to either Ra1# or Qxc2# (except for Qb2 Rxb2+ mating next). Not moving it (e.g. Rxd4?) leads to Qxc3.
1. … Kxa2 (only try)
2. Qxc3
Threatening both Qb2# and Ra8+ Kb1 Ra1#, both can’t be prevented.
2. … Rxd4 (Rb1 Ra8#)
3. Ra8+ Kb1
4. Ra1#
1…..Bd4!!!
A. 2. Qxb7..Ra1#
B. 2. Qxd4..Qxf2#
C. 2. Rxd4..Qxc3.
C1 3. Kxa2..Qxf2+. 4. Ka1/3..exd4
C2 3. Ra4…Qxf2#
Harry
1…Bd4
Bd4 as if Q moves Ra1 is mate and Rxd4 fails as the queen is en pris to the black queen
Way 2 easy.
1. … Bd4!! 0-1
It looks like a forced mate in 6 or 7 to me.
1. … Bd4
2. Rxd4 Qxc3
3. Kxa2 Ra8+
4. Kb1 Ra1#
