Topalov is better
Carlsen cannot keep up winning at this level to maintain a score above 2815 consistently! The next rated tournament in which Carlsen participates will make Topalov once again #1.
The top 5 players of the list are a notch above every body else, and only one of them deserve to be the world champion.
If Topalov wins the world championship, he’ll go back to number one most likely.
Nobody can call himself no1 by rating at the moment. It swifts every time, so leave this list for about a year and concentrate on the WC match now.
