International Women Master Kiran Manisha Mohanty of India earned her norm for woman grandmaster and Women International Master Shamima Akter Liza of Narayanganj also bagged her International Woman Master Sunday at the conclusion of the Parachute Advanced International Chess Tournament, reports BSS.

This tournament was sponsored by Marico Bangladesh Limited held in association with Bangladesh Chess Federation and organised by Six Seasons Chess Tournaments Club which was held in the Conference-Room of Uni Resort at Cox’s Bazar.

Kiran became unbeaten champion in this event after accumulating 7 points to clinch the title and her final woman grandmaster norm. It is the first International Woman Master norm for Liza. Liza earned 5 points from this event.
