Dibyendu Barua Chess Academy and Allsport Management are organizing the 2nd International Grandmasters Chess Tournament from 15-24th March at the Indian Council For Cultural Relations, 9A Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Kolkata-71, India.
Players with elo rating 2000 and above only are eligible to participate.
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws Of Chess and FIDE Swiss System of 9 rounds. The time control will be 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment from move 1 for entire game.
The total prize fund is INR 10,00,000/- (approx 15,000 EUR):
1st Prize Rs. 2,00,000/-
2nd Prize Rs. 1,60,000/-
3rd Prize Rs. 1,30,000/-
4th Prize Rs. 80,000/-
5th Prize Rs. 50,000/-
6th Prize Rs. 35,000/-
7th & 8th Prize Rs. 25,000/- etc
