White’s knight is in the way. Let’s move it with force:
1. Ne7! Re7 (or give up the queen)
2. Qf6!
A double threat on the unprotected rook, and a mate threat of Qg7. The only defenses to the mate are the two knight moves to e6:
2. ……Nfe6 (or Nde6)
3. de6
With the mate threat initiated…
3. ……Nde6 (fe6 4.Qe7)
4. Qe7 has won a rook for a pawn.
1. Ne7+ Rxe7 2. Qf6 Nde6 3. dxe6 Nxe6 4. Qxe7 1-0
1.Ne7+ followed by 2.Q f6 and mate follows on the next move.

If 1…. Kh7
2. Nxc7 winning material.
A wonderful position to get!!
Lovely h pawn and f6 field.
And a nice knight fork there is also.
Sacking this knight must be a good investment.
1. Ne7+! Rxe7 (Kh7 Nxc8 Rxc8 Qf6 Nfe6 Qxe7 is at least up with queen)
2. Qf6! Nfe6 (other moves 3. Qg7#)
3. dxf6 Ndxe6 (other moves 4. Qg7#)
4. Qxe7
is at least up with a full rook.
Nxd6. cxd6
Qf6
White cant prevent checkmate now
Too many of you have concluded that it is enforced mate on g7.
It isn’t, because black has 2 knights he can spend on e6 to protect g7.
So the outcome of it is the gain of a rook.
