1.Rxd7!! Wins a B for white at least!
A>1….0-0.2.Rd1! With a B up!
B>1….Kxd7.2.Bb5!?Qxb5.3.Qxb5+.Kd8.4.Qxb7 with a Q+B+P for a R!
C>1….Qxd7.2.Bb5!.Rd8.3.Bxd7+.Rxd7 with a Q+B for a R!
1. Rxd7 and
after 1… Qxd7 or 1…Kxd7 the same move 2. Bb5 winning the queen.
Rxd7 … White bishop gone
Bb5 …
Discovery check
Queen is gone I think wherever it goes or at least a bishop
White can just take the bishop at d7 since either recapture, with the king or queen, allows Bb5 skewering the queen and king.
This needs no thinking.
1.Rxd7 K or Qxd7
2.Bb5 pins the Q.
Black gets only a R for Q.Otherwise he has to forego the B.
1…. QxBc4 is also of no use.
5 seconds.
1. Rxd7!
is up with a piece.
1. … Qxd7/Kxd7?
2. Bb5
is up with Q for R.
1. … Qxc4??
2. Qxc4 Kxd7
3. Qxf4
was even worse.
Rd7
Rxd7
1. Rxd7 1-0 (White’s rook is untouchable. 1. … Kxd7 or 1. … Qxd7 is followed by 2. Bb5)
Rxd7
If black king or queen takes the rook, then Bb5 wins the queen.
1. Rxd7 , wrecking havoc black foothold
If
1. ………., Qxd7 black losses the queen
2. Bb5, Q takes the B or Rad8
Easy win for white
Edgar
1. R:d7 followed by 2. Bb5 if back recaptures.
Rxd7? then either queen or king takes rook and then Bishopb5
