Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Congratulations to two of the best young chess players around, and also
to the Webster SPICE program. Well deserved!
Good job Ms. Polgar. That was a real feat having both of your students fighting it off in the finals.
Well done. Now give the devil (Pichay) his due so you can start joining the World Championship qualification tournaments.
Wesley is buying a new car. Nice birthday gift for himself. Don’t think about paying for your release from NCFP, kid. Just wait out the 2 years.
I am so (no pun intended) happy for Wesley. I have been following his career for many years now. Saw him in a tournament in the Philippines several years ago.
congrats Wesley!
Has Nakamura ever won $100,000 at anything ever in his life?
The cash prize for the champion in Baku chess tournament was only 20k euro.Nakamura, Caruana, et al played there.Good job Wesley.
If Susan Polgar would allow, I would like to see GM Hikaru Nakamura versus GM Wesley So in a 4 game match standard chess FIDE Rated to for bragging right as the best chess player in the United States of America. Though I believe Susan will allow BUT I highly believe that GM Nakamura will just chicken out & will not take the challenge of one-on-one matchup invoking numerous excuse which is what Nakamura is well-known… EXCUSES lol
Congratulations Wesley!!!
