Moscow chess players Alina Kashlinskaya and Daria Charochkina have maintained perfect scores after winning their games in round 5 of the the Moscow Open 2014 Russian Women’s Premier Cup.

The two talented players are sharing the lead in the event with 155 participants. They are paired against each other for round 6 on Thursday.

Grandmasters Boris Grachev, Ildar Khairullin and Pavel Ponkratov (all Russia) and Mateusz Bartel (Poland) are joint leaders in the Men’s Premier Cup with 4,5/5 points each. This section has 194 participants.

In the Student Grandmaster Tournament the duo Vladislav Artemiev and Vladimir Belous have set apart from the rest of the field with 4,5/5 points each, leaving the nearest followers point and half behind. This event is a 10-player round robin.

Nafisa Muminova (Uzbekistan) maintains the top position in the Women’s Student Grandmaster Cup, despite the draw with WIM Maria Severina. Muminova has 4,0/5 points, while Wang Jue (China) and Meri Arabidze (Georgia) are moving to shared second place with 3,5 points each after winning their games.
