The Danish Chess Championship 2013 was from March 23rd to April 1st at the Konventum, Gl Hellebækvej 70, 3000 Helsingør.
The tournament was a 10-player round robin with the average elo of 2473 points.
GM Davor Palo emerged the national champion after finishing the race with 6,5/9 points. Palo also took the prize of 10,000 Danish Krone home (approx. 1,800 US dollars).

Interesting that GM David Palo had a 5 years break from chess only returning to the chessboard last autumn to lead his club Skanderborg to win the Danish Team Championship. And now GM Palo wins his first individual Danish Championship. A very successful comeback!
