Here is the link to over 200 pictures from the SPICE Cup 2010.

I would like to thank Chessdom.com, ChessBomb.com, MonRoi.com, ICC (ChessClub.com), PlayChess.com, TWIC, Chess.com, ChessToday.net, and many more chess media sources for covering the SPICE Cup. The fighting spirit so far has been tremendous in both group A and B.

In a few days, a group of chess playing students from Norway (from the same school as Magnus Carlsen), headed by my friend GM Simen Agdestein, will arrive in Lubbock for about 10 days. In addition to participating in the SPICE Cup FIDE Rated Open (November 5-7), they will also participate in many other local non-chess activities. Various local families, including a number of Norwegian families in Lubbock, TX, will host the players. This will be a wonderful experience for everyone and I am looking forward to welcoming our Norwegian friends.
