Is TTU interviewing parents and checking academic records as it apparently was in 2006?

Ah, yes … after ‘TTU agrees to award’ it says, ‘The scholarship must begin the following year’.
Haven’t most students who are going to college next year already decided where they are going?! I aimed for my college 15 months before going.
The scholarship conditions were set by the university officials not Susan or any officials/members of the chess program. Obviously those of us involved in the chess program see the window for these full scholarships loosened but for now this is what we had to work with.
Many of the participants and their parents were interviewed by administrators of the programs they showed interest in.
