Warren Harper of Houston, Texas, won the 2007 Denker Tournament of High School Champion in Cherry Hill, NJ. He also broke the 2300 mark for the first time. The most remarkable thing is Warren played his first rated game only 3 short years ago!

Good job Warren!
He must be a chess genius. I hope he uses that scholarship. If not my grand daughter will be happy to use it.
Is he a cheater?
in 3 years to 2300+ ??
What a thing to say! Looks like he did this the old fashioned way; hitting the books, doing tactics and analysis.
Good for Warren and congratulations on a tournament well won!
