Bc6 wins a piece
instantly saw Bc6
Bc4 exploiting the pin and gaining material.
Seems like the slow Bd5-Bc4 should net at least the xchange for white, no?!
With the pinned knight, perhaps Bd5 preparing Bc4. (On may way to class. More later.)
1.Bc6? Ra6!
Bd5 looks like the best move to me since it is the only way I see to make use of the pin and covers the b7 square for one additional tempo- the immediate threat of the move is Bc4. First, though, I would point out that the “obvious” Bc6 doesn’t work.
1. Bc6 Ra6 gives double attack on the two white minor pieces. No matter how white takes at b5, black takes a piece in return.
1. Bd5 c4 (what else?)
2. Bc4! Nc4
3. dc4 and black will now lose the remaining knight.
Bd5 should do the trick
1. Bd5 with two threats: Bc4 and/or moving the e-pawn forward e4, e5.
Unlike 1. Bc6, Ra6, do not see a way to save the game for black.
1. Bd5
threat of Bc4 does not seem to have refutations
1. Bd5 with the intention to Bc4 leads to the exchange up for white.
Bd5
arctic knight
Bd5 to threaten Bc4
When i looked at it i saw Bc6. your gonna get an exchange rook for knight anyways.. i prefer the cleaner Bc6 its a faster move..
