I’m rooting for Robson to come back in the 2nd game.
I know lots of people don’t want to believe it…but this kid is the next Morphy..Fischer..whatever you want to call him. And Thank God for that…we needed it. With todays inflated ratings….I think its Obvious. This kid is 18! and he’s going to Rock this Blase chessworld. Good for him! You’re witnessing something special…please stop shitting on him…..He’s probably one of the best ever…at 18!!!! Think about it! None of you commentors are even qualified to make a judgement….He’d kill you at chess without even thinking about it.
Mike Magnan
Big words without any doubt. But his time has not come yet. Believe it or not.
okay
Susan if ya get a chance ask Jean Hebert where the Peace Bridge to Buffalo N.Y.! I guarantee you he will say he doesnt know! hahahahaha. Some guy from Yugoslavia suppose to be at the chess tournament right now! So i just sent young Vance Williams over there to crush him and his rating!! i think this guy is 2400 or something ! hehhehe. I see some guy got sic vs LIL Sister!I dont blame him if i play one of yall im gunna start coughin and lookin around too!!! hahaha. Last but not least there is no such thing as GENDER CHESS so its not clear why the traditionalist say men are stronger, I see Fischer didnt bother with that Knight odds nonsense in Polgarville huh? He came outta that silly shtuff, huh? hehehe.
Ah – the old BBC Horizon program filmed in Oxford and shown in April, 2007.
Never heard how you did in that competition! I think the playright and the Quantum Physicist won.
chess tv on cable
That’s no surprise. Jean Hebert gets lost going to Ontario…..let alone another country. He’s sort of Famous for that. Hope he gets a nice paycheck playing in this crazy paper good for nothing Fide Tournament though…Jean is the Oldest and the Youngest Canadian Championship title holder!!!! Not that that really means anything at the highest levels…But it would be cool if like Kalifman..and that other guy (2nd to Anand) could win the lottery and place highly. Good luck.
Hoping Judit Polgar will advance in World Cup.
Carlsen is brilliant, but he’s also fortunate to have been built up by both media and big-league organizers. He’s a good media copy, so he was invited to top-level events very early, even while his rating was still in the low 2500s. He did not have exceptional results at once, but his constant exposure to the strongest players greatly enriched his play. And now with Kasparov as trainer, he has upped his game another notch.
There are other brilliant young GMs around. If they should be lucky as well to get the same breaks as Carlsen got, I think a few of them will just be as strong as Magnus at 18.
