Ne5 seems promising
Ne5 seems to be illegal move!
….when black queens…white has Nf2
check!
I’m no chess pro….All I can see is the Queen e1 check..pick up the B Knight…..and its a queen and N and N vs Queen and Knight…..I know thats not the answer…must be some sort of smothered thing..
Olu when black queens…its CHECK!!! and the queens come off…wake up this saturday morning..haha
It looks like Ne4 g1(Q)+; Nf2+ wins the Queen.
Ne4 Nd3, I don’t see a win there.
only one queen go off: the black one.
I think if Ne4 and black defends with nd3 then Queen f2 and Black is dead

After Knight takes f2 NG3 # then NG5…and its all over.
Mike Magnan
If Ne4, nd3, Qf2, nxQ.
Its a quirk mate…wow!!!!
Mike Magnan
ne4 nd3 Qf2 n#f2 NG3# Kg1 NG5 Nf3 N#f3 Mate
Mike Magnan
Nice pattern
Nice Queen sac. and amazing Knight play
Instead of Nxf2 the black can choose to play Ng4 and save himself. I don’t see a win.
ng4 I guess is a try…..but that leaves Qh4 check and then KG1 ..Ng5…..and if you don’t see a win there then….I guess I can’t convince anyone of anything.
Mike Magnan
Yes..I see it now. Ng4 just gives temporary relief. Thanks.
Saw this position at the local club a few weeks back (given as a problem, not as part of a game). It took a while to solve even moving the pieces, but indeed Ne4 wins for white as discussed above.
