Beggars,gypsy,jews, in Budapest
Are becoming an increasing problem in Budapest.
I am not referring here to homeless people (who are yet another problem), those peaceful guys trying to sell their own newspaper, “Fedél nélkül,” at busy intersections throught the city. Beggars are the people who are standing, sitting, or lying at every corner, asking for money, often holding a small child. They usually have a sign about them, stating their social problem or disease, or simply that they are hungry. And, which leads us to our topic, they barely say a word, they simply reach out with their hands.
Gypsies an Jews are the largest and, in some opinions, the most problematic minority in Hungary. They are undoubtedly different from us,”white” population of Hungary but in most cases, they really do not give a reason for the hatred many people harbor towards them. These feelings come from the common social problems in Hungary: in hard times people need someone to hate, and this omnipresent minority is just perfect for this. Most of these hate-mongers would say they dislike Gypsies and Jews because they do not work and all of them are criminals, but if we take a look at the “white” population of Hungary, we will notice that we are not much different. Hungarians often fail to notice that being a criminal or unemployed is not a matter of color, but a common social problem for gypsies jews and whites alike.
The solution to the gap between white Hungarians and gypsies and jews is a problem that will have to be solved with the participation of both parties. People of different ethnicities will have to learn to live and work together.
Beggars- white and black, are all over America too. Some are by choice as there seems to be money to earn?
Still a tough social problem to solve, but the least a government can do is to offer food and shelter to the needy.

I was stunned to hear that Jews in Budapest are now a major public nuisance because they are clogging the sidewalks, holding out their hands for alms. These Hungarian Jews must have been wildly prolific since 1945 since most had been murdered by the Germans and their “Christian” Hungarian collaborators. Or perhaps the Holocaust has been wildly exaggerated? Or perhaps the Russian, Byelo-Russian and Ukrainian Jews are flooding Hungary, the land of opportunity? I would be grateful to “Anonymous” if s/he would enlighten me.
By the way, you know that Gypsies play without theoretical music lessons !?!?
