I am not a fan of Topalov’s behavior, but it is a bit unfair to harshly criticize him for this result. It is not as if he routinely wins the blindfold portion of the Melody Amber tournament each year.
Hopefully Topalov can turn things around, as he is a terrific player.
elo performance means nothing in blindfold chess (either for Bu and Topalov)
