This is the first puzzle from this site that I managed to solve without setting up the pieces on a board.
Nice….White mates in 4.
I suppose it is desperation that enables one to solve this. Heroic measures are called for.

I didn’t know this pattern till I had jobbed a good deal with this one.
1. Rf8+ (only natural looking move) Qxf8

What else? Of course not gain the queen with Qxf8?? Kxh7 and black’s a and b pawns win.
