The 2015 Chinese Individual Chess Championships for men and women took place from 18-29th May, in Jiangsu Xinghua, a city under the administration of Taizhou, Jiangsu province, China.

Both events were played in a single round-robin format with tempo of play 90′ + 30″.

GM Wei Yi emerged a clear winner in the men’s championship with 7,5/11 points, leaving the runner-up GM Ding Liren half a point behind.

Grandmasters Wang Hao and Yu Yangyi tied for the first place on 6,5 points each.

WGM Tan Zhongyi is the crowned women’s champion with 8,5/11 points, followed by IM Shen Yang, who scored 8 points.

The third place was shared by WGM Lei Tingjie and WGM Ding Yixin after both players finished the event on 7,5 points.
