1. Qxg7+! Kxg7
2. Nh5+ Kh8
3. Nxf6 1-0
Black Queen has to flee, and 4. Nxe8+ will follow. Then 4. … Kg8 5. Nf6+ again. Then 5. … Kh8 6. Nd7+ Kg8 7. Nxf8 with huge advantage for White. Black’s defence is totally demolished.
1. Qxg7 Kxg7 2. Nh5+ Kh8 ( both Kg8 and Kh6 loses to Nxf6+ forking King and Queen) 3. Nxf6 Qd8 4. Nxe8 + f6 5. Bxf6 Rxf6 6. Nxf6 +-
1. Q:g7+ K:g7
2. Nh5+ Kh8
3. N:f6 Q any
4. N:e8+
and white has RBN for Q
Well, you should consider the queen sacrifice at g7 even if you can’t really see deep enough to know it is good:
1. Qg7 Kg7
Now, the eye should land on 2.Nh5 attacking the pinned knight at f6:
2. Nh5 Kh8 (Kh7/g8 3.Nf6 forks Q)
So, now white has to decide- take with the bishop or the knight at f6. Taking with the bishop provides a check, but then I don’t see how white continues the attack:
3. Bf6?? Kh7!
4. Bd4 Ng8 (f6 ok, too, I think)
5. Nf5 f6
6. Bc2 Re2 and I think black has it all guarded well enough. White can win an exchange with Ne3 discovered check, but after Rxc2, black will have a queen and a pawn for a rook and knight, and a secure enough king- surely decisive. So, let’s go back to move 3:
3. Nf6
Now black has to move the queen, and there is no way to do so that attacks any of the white pieces, so black is looking at losing at least a bishop, knight, and rook for white’s queen- a bad material exchange, all else being equal, and even more:
3. …..Qc8 (best I think)
4. Ne8 f6 (Kg8? 5.Nf6 Kg7 6.Nd5)
5. Bf6! Rf6 (else, Bxe7)
6. Nf6 Qe6 (try to win piece)
7. Nh5 Qf7
8. Ng3 f4 (else 9.Ngf5)
And, I am not sure of the best way to coordinate the white pieces here. My instincts tell me that Rf2 is best here since I can foresee b2 being a weakness:
9. Rf2 Qf6
10.Raf1!Qh4
11.Rf4 and white will regain the piece after Rf8+.
1.Qxg7+!! followed by Nh5, Winning!
Qxg7 wins easily!
